This might qualify as another “First” had mom been able to see it. I know that in my lifetime, I cannot recall the temperatures dropping to such extremes for such a prolonged period of time as presented itself in the onslaught of this weeks “Polar Vortex” (scary but scientific sounding). From this bitter cold have come pictures and videos from all walks of life demonstrating natures raw power… and beauty.
